Although Mike's poll was great to get a pulse, it was not a mandate from the people. And being from the left coast I choose to be different. And whereas we have already had our main course it is now time for dessert. And this being Lent and having given up sweets I thought I would torture myself.
Please post the recipe and a photo voting instructions will follow.
As a prize I will send you two of my pans, not sure which two but at least one will be vintage.
To start things off DUMP CAKE Cherry
12" oven
Dump in 2 cans of pie filling Cherry
Dump in two boxes of cake mix Dark Chocolate
Dump in a cube of butter sliced.
Dump in 16 oz of soda Dr Pepper
lightly mix the cake part
4 up 4 down on the briquets or 8 under 16 on top 35 minutes and ......
Pictured is Dump Cake with Peaches and Sierra mist soda in a 5" oven. _________________ What does not kill me..... makes for really good campfire stories.

That's what I see, too. Didn't want to be the first to speak up, but I'll second that! _________________ God Bless,

Alas I may have to pass on this one and just look. I have to eat my cooking attempts and desserts are off the menu for a while. I expect to be headed to a dog thing in Cottonwood,AZ and will not have time. I will take my small cobbler dishes and 5" DO along just in case the opportunity arises.
For any one in that area I will be in my Kenskill trailer, just ask at the park gate where the Earthdog tests are. _________________ Dennis

I'm glad to see this isn't until the 21st. Gives us a little time. Hopefully, the weather will be better. |

Count me in. That is a perfect time to do this. I missed the pizza round and feel a bit left out. So I'll eat my desert first (which is normal behaviour anyhow). _________________ The Greekspeedoman (a.k.a. Mark)

I missed the starting date when I wrote that last post. Too much on my mind, too little in it. _________________ God Bless,

ALRIGHT!!
The girls are excited, but I'm not a big dessert person. My idea of dessert is an extra helping of roast beef, with extra gravy...
Hmmm.. Does roast beef and gravy count as a dessert?? _________________ Never be afraid to try something new.
