Just returned from a great family trip to the US where my wifes family in Rock Springs WY treated us to a couple of meals cooked in their dutch ovens. Peach french toast for breakfast (delicious cant wait to make it back home) and fresh bread to go with the milk can supper they made us in the evening.

So I had to order my own DO when I got back home - Petromax FT9 German made as the Lodge ovens were hard to source at reasonable price in the UK.

Looking forward to trying some of the recipe recommendations found on this site.

Kewl Green Welcome to the Cast Iron Clubhouse, Justin. There are many great cooks and recipes available for you to try. Since you are going to be in a new oven check out my husband and me on our cooking channel. There are plenty of recipes on this forum as well. Mike B. just did a whole recipe compilation that is available to down load. Let us know what you enjoy cooking.

Life is uncertain....eat dessert first....preferably one cooked in a Dutch Oven.
