I've decided to get rid of a few pieces which I haven't been using. Shy Smile Besides, I have to pay for the 16" camp oven I just ordered! Laughing

I know shipping will probably kill the deal for most of you, but thought I'd post anyway. Let me know if anything strikes your fancy! Thumbs Up

Wow, lots of nifty treasures! Unfortunately I'm not in the market right now, but I will be down that way in a couple of weeks. I gotta say, that electric crepe maker looked a little incongruous though! LOL! Laughing

Wow Paul,
Those look great. I really like the camp fire cook set you made. I'm just directly south of you across lake Erie in NE Ohio, to bad they won't float you could put a sail on them and send them south to me. I'm thiking about the camp set. I'll sleep on it for a day or so and see how I could work it out. Nice work (black smithing that is) Thumbs Up .

Great looking stuff you've got there, Paul! How about a little photojournal of the forging process? I'd love to see it! If it's already here somewhere, please post a link. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

No photo's of forging (yet) Cliff.... I've been playing Mr. Mom, while my wife is away on a course for July and it's been a little too hot to fire things up. It gets a bit uncomfortable when the temp in the shop goes over 110* Frightened

Most recently I've been working on a knife made from a railroad spike (trading this for some Celtic jewelry a friend makes) and a gong-like bell made from an old compressed gas cylinder. Here's a little video I made... http://www.flickr.com/photos/47464098@N03/4782685767/

I have lots more ideas... just need more time! Gold Tooth Smile:

I love your choice of music, Paul! Thumbs Up

I was wondering how you knew the tank was safe to cut, when your public service announcement came up. Laughing

That was the reason for the video... so I could be posthumously nominated for the Darwin Awards! Laughing

Seriously though... I had removed the valve and rinsed the tank with water numerous times. There's still a bit of the fear-factor when you first cut into it though! Shhh I do play-it safe.

It also depends on what was in the tank b4 it was emptied.
If it was an inert gas, no problem. If it was Oxygen, could have been a problem, or even a fuel gas, which are not too common for the high pressure cylinders. However that being said, and being a welder by trade, I don;t think I would cut a high pressure cylinder. I was not comfortable about cutting old steel drums either.

Yet I repaired gas tanks! go figure Laughing

Tried to PM you Paul, but for some reason I kept getting errors.

Do you still have the Wagner WI paddles and the Wagner muffin pan? I'm assuming the WI paddles are the 1408? Have a high base waiting for it. :Smile 1:
